Shipping Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Booking & cut-offs

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of signed quotation and deposit payment. Cut-off times for documentation and cargo receipt are advised at booking and must be strictly observed to secure vessel/flight space.

2. Documentation

Customers must provide commercial invoice, packing list, transport document (BL/AWB), permits and product-specific certificates. Incomplete documentation may cause customs delays for which Fenat Eagles is not responsible.

3. Transit times

  • Sea freight China → Tema: 30–55 days port-to-port (direct or via consolidation).
  • Sea freight Europe → Tema: 15–25 days.
  • Air freight (most origins → Accra): 3–7 days.
  • ECOWAS transit from Tema: 3–7 days to border delivery.

Transit times are indicative and subject to carrier schedules, weather and port congestion.

4. Customs clearance

Standard clearance at Tema Port is 2–5 working days with complete documentation. Regulated goods (food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals) may require additional permits and take longer.

5. Delivery

Inland delivery is arranged from ports/warehouses to your final destination. Delivery windows are confirmed at booking and depend on route, cargo type and access.

6. Cargo insurance

We strongly recommend all customers arrange marine or air cargo insurance for the full commercial value of their shipment. We can arrange coverage through licensed insurers on request.

7. Claims

Any loss, damage or shortage must be notified in writing within 3 working days of delivery, supported by photographs and the delivery note. Claims are handled under the applicable transport convention.
