These terms govern the services provided by Fenat Eagles Shipping & Logistics Ltd, a company registered under the laws of Ghana. By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope of services
We provide freight forwarding, customs brokerage, procurement, warehousing, haulage, transit and related logistics services as specified in the quotation, booking or service agreement issued to you.
2. Quotations
Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation (default 7 days). Rates are subject to change based on freight-market fluctuations, currency movements, weight/volume verification and regulatory changes.
3. Customer obligations
- Provide accurate, complete and lawful cargo information and documentation.
- Ensure cargo is properly packaged, labelled and legally exportable/importable.
- Settle invoices in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
4. Payment terms
Standard terms are 50% on booking confirmation and 50% before cargo release, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Overdue invoices may attract interest and cargo may be held under lien.
5. Liability
Our liability is governed by the international conventions and industry standard trading conditions applicable to each mode of transport (Hague-Visby, Warsaw/Montreal, CMR). We recommend clients arrange marine cargo insurance for the full commercial value of their goods.
6. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, port congestion, weather, war, pandemics or governmental action.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ghana or, at our option, through arbitration.
